REFLEXOLOGY

Reflexology is a unique treatment that can treat any part of a recipient's body while only having to physically manipulate their hands or feet.

This makes this therapy ideal for quickly and effectively treating employees either in a private room or even at their desks.

BACKGROUND

reflexology

Reflexology uses principles similar to Acupuncture, but without requiring the use of needles.

Perhaps because of this, Reflexology has recently emerged as an extremely popular and highly effective complimentary therapy.

Developed in the 1930s by physiotherapist Eunice Ingham, reflexology is based on the belief that each part of the body is interconnected through the nervous and energetic systems to the hands, ears and feet.

THERAPEUTIC BENEFITS

Using detailed maps of both of these areas of the body, the therapist can apply careful pressure on specific areas of the foot or ear in order to stimulate, relax or heal the connected area of the body.

Because only the feet or ears are manipulated, the patient does not have to undress for the treatment, which although remaining effective, will feel less invasive as a treatment to the patient.
